Can someone help..

A friend has been having some breathing problem with the lungs, she coughs and then cant breathe, usualy after running, im thinking is ashma. She has some kinda lung problem but im not entirly sure what it is, and lately she faints after heavy coughing. She says her family probly wont even get her help right away even though she needs it. she 16, is their anything at all she can do or i can do for her? im 19
