I had major surgery at the end of may of this year. It was NOT weight loss surgery, lol. ANyways. Immediately after surgery I was so sore and so tired I lost about 10 pounds. Now 5 months later I've gained almost 30 pounds. My eating habits have IMPROVED since before my surgery and I've started exercising, which I never did before surgery.
Can having surgery throw off the thyroid, or adrenals, or something? I don't know why this is happening and it's really frustrating.
