upper front tooth infection

Hi,
I've been recently plagued with upper front tooth infection.I had a crack in my upper front tooth with some decay which was fixed about 7 months ago.then just recently my teeth started feeling really sensitive to hot or cold extremes.I started feeling a lot of acute pain in the same area where the dentist had worked.Then my upper lip started to swell and not go down ,i went in to my dentist who performed more exrays and said i needed root canal on 3 of my upper front teethbecause i have an infection.he gave me antibiotics (erythrocin st 500mg) and hydrocodone for pain relief.but 48 hours later I'M still in pain and my front upper lip is still swollen, also my lymph nodes in the neck area is really tender.What should I do ?

I had the same type of infection above one of my front teeth.
What they did to me was pull that tooth and put a permanent bridge in.
I took alot of antibiotics and had to let it drain for several months
until it cleared up.
They put a temp flipper in until the infection was gone.
