this is my 1st time posting and i want to know what do the TSH mean because mines is only 4.43/0.47-4.53uu/ml and my FREE T4 is 0.89/ 0.84-2.26ng/dl. i want to start a family but the numbers seem to be low.my dr put me on levothyroxine 0.100.would this help me to have a child in the near future?thanks for anyone help.....

Hi Tahilia Your levels show hypothyroidism and your doc was right when he put you on meds - especially when you're hoping to have a baby. 0,1mg is quite a large starting dose - usually the medication is started with a lower dose (25-50 mcgs). Keep an eye for possible HyperT symptoms - if those occur a small med decrease is in order. Good luck
so is this is the reason why i can not get pregnant?is this a good thing or is it bad?i was also put on metformin 500mg as well.i we want to see my obgyn and she said that was a high does that the fertility specilist put me on.i really want to kno how long would it take for my body to ovulate like 3-6months?
