Question when to tell someone?

i found out i had hsv 1 genitally 2 years ago. i have only told one guy other than the boy that i contracted it from. the guy i told was okay with it, but things eventually didnt work out. but now im in a new relationship and i really like this guy. we have only been dating a few weeks but i kind of feel like he should know. he is a really great guy but i don't know if its too soon to tell him. When do yall think is the best time to tell someone?

please help.

Re: when to tell someone?

The best time to tell someone would before becoming intimate with them. Other then that it is up to you, when you feel it is the right time.

Re: when to tell someone?

I would do it before then, just so that I don't develop feeling and then worry about being rejected. I think its easier to get it out of the way in the beginning, at least when you know there is potential of it heading somewhere ya know
