cannot find cause of tooth pain

I have had upper teeth pain (right side) for the past month or so. My doctor says my sinuses are clear. My endodonist cannot find a reason for the pain in the upper right side of my mouth but thinks a tooth that has a cavity in the lower right side could possibly cause the pain in the UPPER right side of my mouth. One more thing, my right ear has pain as well. The pain is a constant dull ache.
