HI---have you been to a specialist yet? It sounds like you triggered tmj symptoms in some way, and you may need to get a nightguard to wear if you are grinding your teeth. The ear pain is due to your lower mandible being in the incorrect position. You may need to enter into splint therapy to reposition it. Hopefully not, but a good tmjd specialist can give you an exam. Look under ICCMO, and see who is near you, also, make sure they do neuromuscular tmj treatments, and possible be a Functional Jaw Ortho. as well.
