tues morning like 1am i apparantly didnt use enough solution to take out my contact lens, i sleep in them, they are accuvue, so it succtioned to my eye, and it felt like i pulled my eye out. now over my 15 years wearing soft lenses, and several years before that wearing hard and gas perm. lenses, i have had eye pain like this before from contact lenses. ususally the pain and eye watering lasts about a week or so, so bad in the past i wore an eye patch, and lived on cooling eye drops. but this time its really strange. its now friday and i have no eye pain at all, however i have blurred vision still. earlier today i was able to wear my contact lenses for the first time since i hurt my eye, i gave it 3 days so far with no contacts in, and i was ok but it started feeling uncomfortable and hurting so i took my contacts out. i am noticing that i cannot see totally clear like normal. however, if i put my left eye glass side up to my eye i can see out of it. im jsut wondering if anyone has experienced this before. i dont remember the blurred vision like this without pain from the past. usually it hurts like all hell for a week and i cant really do much but sleep or keep a patch over my eye. i s hope i didnt change my vision from this. itwas fine until this happened. im hoping maybe it just hasnt had enough time to fully heal. i havent see a doc yet cuz this has happened before in the past. if by sunday im still blurred im gonna try to get into walmart, it just sucks cuz its $80, with no insurance. or i guess i could go to the er.
