Re: Medication
I Ignored mine for years out of, not knowing what was really going on with my body. Tell your your husband if he want's the marraige to last, get you to the proper doctor. I have been close to loosing my wife a couple of times because of the mania. I told my insurance hot line what was going on and they had me to a Specialized DR. and Therapist immeadiatly. I am much more even keel, the mania side has far fewer episodes, but the depression side comes out more often. I am a quick cycler. I can be depressed at noon one day and be on a high the next day. I have even been taken off all the pills I take for the new Dr.'s (2 nd. opinions) and feel like I am a drug abuser in the DT's. What we have is serious. It alters our lifes and only some one else who has BiPolar can reallly understand.
