I can't take it anymore!

hello. I'm a 15 year old girl and I have suffered from migraines for about 3 years. I take imigran migraine sprays (sumatripan) when I have a migraine and they have always worked. My migraines have been caused by stress/excitement, do not have anything to do with my periods and did not seem to occur that often.
however, in this past week, ive had four or five migraines with constant headaches in between. my school work is beginning to suffer as the migraine sprays make me really really really tired and i cant concentrate. either they make me really really tired or they dnt work at all. i dont know whether or not to go to the doctor because this has only been in the past week or if because this has only been in the past week should that be reason enough to go? If i did go, what could the doctor do? would he be able to change my medication or something? I can't take this anymore. It hurts so much and i can barely keep my eyes open in school anymore. someone please help.

i used to get severe migraines. my doctor prescribed Inderal as a preventative. It seemed to work great. However, i figured mine were caused by the florescent lights at work. Once i left that job, the migraines have yet to return

Yes you need to go to a Dr. to be checked out. Also, I am hoping you have discussed these with your parents/guardian. I have a 15 year old and definitely would not want him asking about medical advise online.

I can relate to you also.. I was 15 when I started having headaches. So please get this checked out by a Dr be prepared for them to run the "normal" tests.

Good luck!!
