How can I afford Braces? (Severe Overbite)

Quick Info: Not out of Highschool, can't get job to afford braces, parents won't/can't help... Live in the U.S.

I'm writing this letter hoping that a Dentist, or a person knowing what to do may read this and provide me with a plan on what to do. I brush my teeth 3 times a day and floss. Any help would appreciated.

This is my Physical Situation:

I have an overbite of about 1/2(+ a tad) inch between the row of my upper teeth and lower teeth... This gap between the two rows precedes each direction (left/right) all the way until my moulers on each side... I have trouble biting things obliviously.

This is my Financial Situation:

My dad works as a Meat Market Manager, I don't have knowledge on how much he is paid, but I know it isn't much. My mom doesn't work at all. Money is something we don't have much of, and to place the cost of Braces into the mix is almost unthinkable.

Incase your wondering, neither of my parents graduated through Highschool, nor do they have a highschool degree. I'm trying to find a way in order to afford braces. I sincerely wish that I won't have to deal with the consequences through my parents' choices in life.
(I don't have Dental Insurance)

I'd thoroughly enjoy any help you have on this.

also you might want to look into a dental school
it's a lot cheaper, and the work is done by students and supervised by experienced dentists/orthodontists

Try to get a part time job at Starbucks. I heard that they offer insurance to part time employees.

Also, see if your parents qualify for Medicaid at least for you. Medicaid is free insurance from the government. It costs nothing to apply for Medicaid but it does require your parents filling out the papers.

Good luck and keep us posted!!
