Periodontal cyst maybe?

I have what my regular dentist thinks is a periodontal cysty on the bone between two teeth......I went to the oral surgeon for a consultation today and he is removing it in two weeks (after the hoiday).....He says they will biopsy it to see what it is. (just that word makes me nervous)....He said it is small and by the looks of it from the xray it doesn't look aggressive . He said i should be fine.....Has anyone had anything removed from their teeth (bone)....YIKES...any comments will be appreicated. He said the surgery will be about 20 min. i think that will be easy.......i am going to have him just numb the area. thanks bride527
