Question autistic ticks??????? Help!!!!!

My 13 year old autistic daughter is having ticks it been 4yrs and they are getting worst. i have shown everyone Doctors, teachers, family, friends, and strangers. everyone says that it's different no one has seen anything like them. its like a seizure but it is not a seizure. she's been tested for everything she sweats and twitches all over ???? she has taken topomax, ambilify, guaficine, clonezapam which slowed them down to 3 to 4 times a day for about 7 monthes and stopped working, she is now on clonedine an the ticks are getting worst. Neurologist say it's behaverior and phycologist say it's Neurological. her teacher's and I are out of ideas and tired. she can't stop when shes twitching, but she can hear you. When she gets control and stops she always answers any questions you asked while she was twitching and she says she feels better and she always says "no twitching not ever!!!"
I need help any ideas ????????

Re: autistic ticks??????? Help!!!!!

This does sound baffling especially since the clonidine made it worse as clonidine is supposed to help ease up the tics.

Have any of the drs. suggested a anti-depressant for OCD (obsessive compulsive disorder). I'm not a dr. and don't pretend to be but I do know that some of the anti-depressants are helpful for ocd behavior, like zoloft. Ask about this. Also maybe you should get a second opinion from a neuro that specializes in ASD.

Hope you get some answers soon.
