Denial of addiction

I've been using xanax off and on for one year. I rationalize it out as stress depletes my immune system and I'd rather have peace of mind, since my body is very healthy and in great shape. Is this an addiction or use of great power.lol

I mean why should I have to experience a panic attack or anxiety when there's an amazing little peach that can ease the tension in the entire room.

You gotta admit when someone's on edge (like me most of my entire life), it makes the pple around them on edge and anxious. I'll notice my family/friends eat more or something while I'm struggling to stay in the conversation. I just wanna yell or say something obvious in the room. Xanax makes me friendly and at calm with things. So yeah, a year. I'll go weeks without it as well.
