After taking Lyrica for aproximately 2 months, I have developed a severely erratic heartbeat and high blood pressure (which I have NEVER had before!)... Doc thinks its the Lyrica so..... the only med that has helped AT ALL has to be stopped! I am so disgusted with this damn disease and what it has done to my body, mind and spirit!!!
So sorry to hear you are going through this Donnad!! I have been on Lyrica for about 2 years. I was already being treated for a rapid heartbeat,Takcardia (SP), I read is also a lovely gift from the Fibro. It would be a shame if this was the problem and not the Lyrica. I hope you get things straightened out soon so you can go back to being a little more comfortable. Stay in touch...Cat
Hi Cat... I do have a diagnosis of tachycardia as well and have for many years but it has been under control until the lyrica?????? who knows anymore?? thanks for your reply! So glad that the Lyrica is working for you!
