Question pain in top of left leg which gets worse as I move about

It is certainly disconcerting when a new symptom arises..I have CFS now 9 years and energy is a lot better now however in the last two weeks a leg problem that was always mild with a feeling that my leg would give way unexpectedly has now developed into pretty much ongoing pain in the top of the left leg both on the inside near the groin and outer top of the thigh and I have limited mobility because of that. It radiates down the leg at times and I've had numbness on the front of the thigh muscle.
Last Sunday I had a lot of pain and then tingling and numbnesss started down the left side, especially on the left side of my face. Was encouraged to go to the ER where all vitals were fine and they had no answers for me other than suggesting a scan if it recurrs. I also have a lot of twitching going on in the upper back muscles on the right hand side. I am wondering if this new leg pain might be Fibro related and how do they test for this? I would appreciate it if anyone here can shed some light on what might be going on with the leg.
Kind regards,
Emptynessdancin ( not dancin too much at present lol)

Re: pain in top of left leg which gets worse as I move about

Welcome

I'm wondering if you have seen a neurologist for the leg pain and the numbness in your face ? Did the ER suggest you follow up with your doctor with all your symptoms ? This may be a start for you to consider if ER has not already recommended.

A rheumatologist can diagnosis Fibromyalgia.
From what all you have described a start may be with a neurologist first.

Be Well

Thank you for your response and the welcome here BeHappy2 No I haven't seen a neurologist as yet. ER said to get it checked out with my doctor if it recurrs. Leg is still painful but finding some relief by taping my trivortex disc onto the area..works like a charm for pain so far but still a bit afraid to walk on it too much as there must be a lot of inflammation in the area. Had a couple of Scenar treatments, physiotherapy and a kinesiology session so far..only temporary relief noticed. Will take it to my doc again this week and get a referral for a neurologist.
Warm regards,
