jaw clicking when chewing

my right jaw started clicking when I eat after I had two crowns put on. My dentist keeps my bit adjusted and I wear a mouth guard at night. He can't seem to get it to quit. He checked for TMJ and it was alright. Help.

The click is usually from the disc as its recaptured - so it sounds like the vertical or height on the crowns is not correct for you. If he can not resolve it soon - go see a neuromuscular dentist that has training in tmj, functional jaw orthotics and bite issues - they generally can evaluate the bite and determine what the problem is and the best way to correct it.

I have a similar issue. In fact, I don't have to chew to feel the "click". It happens when I merely open my mouth wide. I'm long overdue for seeing a dentist. I have teeth issues as well.
