I started with sore throat, cough, headache, swollen glands, fatigue, and tight chest (no fever). I went to the doctor, he did not test me for the flu, but said it was probably the flu and to go home and get rest, liquids, etc.....A week later, the coughing was uncontrollable and I was coughing up green mucus. Went back to another doctor and they diagnosed me with bronchitis. Gave me antibiotics. One week later, still had the cough and heavy chest, fatigue, and headache. Went back to the doc and they did chest X-ray...still had bronchitis. Gave me prednisone and an antibiotic....Here it is a week and half later and the left side of my neck is in pain...the glands on the left side of my neck are still slightly swollen and hurt when I press on them...My chest still feels slightly congested and still coughing up some clear crud...but the cough is subsiding. I am still very weak and tired. Does anyone have any ideas on why my left gland hurts, chest still heavy, and still weak? After 5 weeks, I am very frustrated to say the least..Thanks!
