Inversion Tables, help or no help?

I was wondering what everyone is finding with the use of inversion tables. After an MRI last year they found a few degenerative disc's and 2 herniated disc's in my lower back. They did micro-surgery on the worse one and I felt great. How ever now it is starting again, this time involving my right leg. Last time I had major pain in my left leg.

Do inversion tables help? I have gotten one and have been using it for a few weeks now a few times a day. Is there something else/more I should be doing? I do not have insurance so I am still trying to pay off the first surgery and there is no way I can afford another one.

Any help would be great!

Re: Inversion Tables, help or no help?

I have DDD in 3 discs, and went thru 12 weeks of Physical Therapy. When in PT, they put me in a traction device that stretched me out and took away my pain in my lower back. I asked the therapist and my PCP and they told me ABSOLUTELY NOT about the inversion tables. It causes too much pressure in your head and can cause severe problems with vision and blood vessels... But some people swear by them. Use your judgement, and I hope you can figure it out!

Good Luck

Matthew
