meth addiction

I have a good friend who is addicted to meth. Most people have no clue he is. I can tell cause i have my past experiance with it. He has slowed down alot on how much he uses. He wants to get help but he doesn't want his parents to find out or be commited to a drug rehab. Is there a way i can help him or he can help stop using without going to a rehab or counceling. He would be more embarres if his family found out. I think I should tell them but I promiced i would not. Can anyone give me any advice. thks cindy
