Is this possible?

Hello everyone, hope everyone has a smile on

is it possible , for someone with bipolar to never ever be on any form of medication, or any form of therpy???? Are they really bipolar??

I was Bipolar for years and didnt take medication until 2006...................so that is the answer...

Sure why not, what is Bipolar exactly? Take out the disorder part (that's a symptom thus it's not a true statement but a value statement) and what do you have left simply bipolar. What exactly is that, what triggers it. I mean if you reduce it down to it's bare bones it's a genetic disposition of causing the brain to rapid cycle under certain environmental conditions and turn into mania that carries the potential of generating a false set of behaviors. The cycling of the brain in and of itself isn't the problem, it's the individual with their entire set of conceptualizations of who they are, and how they see the world that is actually in rapid cycling the problem. Rapid cycling and hyper focusing are the same to me one is controled once it starts to spin inward BOOM ego inflation etc start to happen. All because it's our perceptions, they kick us into the experience and make it a negative at the sametime. A tough chicken or the egg problem to say the least.
