Post Diane-35 and Sex Drive

I'm thinking of switching to Diane-35. I've had a non-existent sex drive issue with Ortho-Tricyclene. Now that I'm on Ortho-Novum 7/7/7, it isn't exactly hopping, though it's better. Still, my bf isn't thrilled, and therefore neither am I. I've hardly found any comments online about how people's sex drives have responded to Diane. Though I'm fully convinced that BC's have no rules, and they torture different people however they please, I'd still like to hear some reactions. Anyone?

Hey Aimee,

I think the statement that birth control pills have no rules is a fairly accurate one.. I've been on OrthoCyclin and Triphasil before and never had a problem.. But as soon as I started taking Mircette, it was bye-bye sex drive..

I'm switching to Ovcon after I finish my current pack of pills to see if it'll help (also because I've been spotting from ovulation on, so my gynecologist thinks that Mircette isn't regulating my hormones well enough), but it's all a matter of trial and error..

Take Care,
Melanie
