Smile Post -op 6 days & counting?

Well I must say pain has found me.The past few days have been very hard. The pain around my forehead is horrible, Hurts to brush my hair back with my hand its so sensitive. I still have the stiches and will until the 28th of Dec.A few days longer with the holidays I guess.I went to the Dr. the 14th. He is really pleased with my results. I can open now up to 20mm with little effort. I have to eat very soft food or liquid mainly. My teeth are not meeting together yet and it may be months before they do. My thing is my eye. They have to cut that nerve and muscle by your eye.Until it gets back to normal you can't raise your eyebrow at all and its so puffy.Anyone know how long it takes to get your facial expressions back in sync?
All In all I am doing O.K. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif I reckon.

Carnation instant breakfast is calling me.YUM YUM!
Thanks for all the GET WELL wishes and prayers guys, they mean so much.

Bren,
Hope things get better, hate to see anyone suffer from this crap.
My opening afer surgery, at the most was 23mm. It didn't get any better. Once the scar tissue built up it was downhill from there.
Jut out of curiosity, what muscle was cut by your eye? Was it the temporalis? I know they cut that one to do a muscle flap. My eyebrows always moved after surgery, that was the first thing my surgeon checked.

I'm having problems with double posting, sorry!!
Heaven help us all, this disease is HORRIBLE!!!
Elaine

Bren,
Don't know how to contact you except by an old post.
Has been a long time since I saw you post and just wondering how you are? Has been a little over a year since your surgery, are you doing ok?? Please let us know.
Take care,
Elaine
