Post Turmeric?

Does anyone have experience taking Turmeric as a supplement? I started two days ago and am having some mild side effects - slightly itchy skin and a metallic taste in my mouth. Also, the skin on the inside of one finger has a yellow tinge! Any ideas? I would also love to hear anyone's experience with taking turmeric, positive or negative. Thanks!

I don't beleive any of your side-effects are related to Turmeric. If you handle Turmeric tablets, the yellow will rub off, but internally, the compounds are metabolized to colorless compounds. I would not take more than 1200mg/day of the common 95% curcuminoid extract. Good luck!

Thanks Ramses. The package says to take 3 tablets per day which would be 900mgs, but I am only taking 2 which is 600. Wondering about my hand thing?? I'll have to talk to the dr.
