Post Alpha Lipoic Acid info. needed.....

I have been hearing alot about this supplement and it seems to have an excellent reputation for being almost a 'super' anti-oxidant. It enhances the anti-oxidant properties of A,E and C. Also promotes energy levels as well.

Has anyone used this and if so what for and what dosages?
Thanks...

aside from a great antioxidant, its supposed to be good for the liver. i use it with meals with carbs to shuttle them more efficiently into the bloodstream, rather than store it as far.

notice i said "more effiently", not totally. but wouldnt that be nice.

Thanks for the reply. Have you noticed any increase in energy?
And what dose do you use?

actually, it can make you lethargic, depending how insulin sensitive you are, but it has been know to increase energy. i would try a 100mg cap with a meal and see.

Lethargic? How could this be? I thought it was supposed to enhance energy by somehow properly utilizing the person's own flagging ability to do so.
I don't have diabetes or any sugar problems according to my labs done in February and never have had a problem.
Sorry for all the questions but I take quite a few supplements already and before I add another, just want to do my homework some. This is the best place to do that...
