Post Calling all Atkins Pros

I have been doing this for two weeks and have not lost a single pound. The book I bought (by Dr. Atkins) said you can eat up to 20mg of carbs per day mainly from vegetables. Some people are telling me no carbs whatsoever for two weeks and I'm getting discouraged and confused. I have kept my carbs under 20mg every single day but have not seen any results. Someone told me it was because I had a cup of caffinated coffee every day, but that just doesn't make sense to me???

Hi, I have coffee every day and that doesnt do anything to you. Im on atkins and have been for 2 months now. I lost 16 lbs but seem to be stuck at that.
stick to the 20 g of carbs a day. give it time and you should see some results soon. just be patient.

Don't eat less than 20 grams. Whoever told you none was wrong. Unless you're on the Fat Fast (wouldn't recommend that one).

For some reason caffeine does something to your blood sugar levels. Try decaf if you can.

Maybe more exercise??? Can't be sure.

Maybe you're not eating enough and have gone into starvation mode. It happens sometimes.
