Question Over-the-counters to help w/withdrawal?

Hello,
This is my first posting after hours of reading here! I am going to go the cold-turkey route this weekend (starting on Saturday night), and am looking for some advice on how to do it. I have some pills left (Valium, Clonazepam, Trazodone and Neurontin) that I have heard are helpful with the W/D symptoms, but am looking for some more facts. Does anybody have any advice for other things I should get to make this as painless as possible (though I know it will be tough)???

hey bro congrrats on gettin clean and the best thing iv found as far as otc for c/t systoms is the thomas reciepe.i dont have the list of all them but if ya type in thomas reciepe it should come up and then make a copy of it.keep in mind that thomas is NOT a dr but an addict like us that has been thru numerous w/ds after runnin out of dope and has compiled a list of things that has helped him thru the w/ds hope it helps and also do not worry about gettin hooked on valiums or xzanex or any benzo as long as you just use them while you are detoxin.youll hear that they are highly addictive but that is so not true.they are addictive but it takes a long time and you are not gonna be on them over 10 days at the most-spark

hey robrozzie----My husband bought me these two different kinds of teas that have worked this far...their brand name is Laci Le Beau by NATROL...one is for stomach issue---TUMMY CARE, works like a charm!!! And the other is for sleep and has a very calming effect--HEAVENLY NIGHTS...worked awesome last night. I also use dramamine when i get that dizzy, sick to my stomach feeling. It also makes you a little drowsy, which is a good thing! Lots of water or gatorade. I also, found a drink called VITAMIN WATER---STRESS, it is full of vitamin B.. Well good luck
