Question Question on Necon birth control

I've been taking Necon for probably the past 2 1/2 years after trying a few other ones. Is it one of the low dosages of estrogen pills. I was wondering because I know that sometimes birth control pills can cause strokes in women, especially if you smoke. I don't smoke though. Does anyone else take this one?
