Question Ways of taking BCP's

i read an article that said that you can take your BCP's vaginaly. at first i thought it was a joke, bt i've read about it on other web sites. i havent done it nor plan to, but have heard if you are sick and you vomit within 2hrs of taking you pills it would be better to take the pill as a suppository. i just want to know if this is true and has anyone here tried it?

This is true but applies more to the emergency contraceptive pill because it IS rather likely to make you sick.

The suppository thing can be done but isn't recommended since they often use binders like talcum powder and starches when making the pills, which are generally not things you'd want to have up there.

They've developed a plastic hormone-impregnated birth-control ring that's taken as a suppository -- I'm sure you've heard of NuvaRing.
