Angry

I read up on the side effects of this drug , and they are some nasty side effects in people.
Making them drunk feeling , memory loss , black out spells , slurred speech.

I don't think I wanna try this stuff at all.
I am real scared to try this because of the above reasons.

Trazodone is like any medication in the fact that yes it MAY cause side effects. For the most part though it works well. We use it a lot at the nursing home where I work on our elderly people and they are a very sensitive group of people since many of them don't eat well and aren't as mobile as you are. We rarely see side effects from the trazodone. Tylenol is also very dangerous to take because of the severe liver problems etc it can cause but I'll bet you use Tylenol for you aches and pains like most people do. You need to remember that EVERY medication you take including vitamins can have side effects and cause reactions in some people. Your doctor felt this medication would work for you so go ahead and try it. My question to you would be to wonder why you went to the doc in the first place if you don't won't to follow his suggestions? Any med he gives to help your insomnia is not without side effects.
