Post Question about sinus problems plz help

Hello everyone,

I find it very hard to breathe through my nose because the right side is blocked off quite a bit. I have no known allergies so I wanted to get your opinion on it.

I also experience "popping" in my right ear. Once it pops I can hear everything much clearer.

I really have no idea what is causing these problems so if anyone could help I'd appreciate that very much.

Thank you!

I have the same problem right now, and once my ear pops, I can hear everything again, but, the other one fills up. It is sinus caused from the pollen that is out right now. It happens to me every year. The dr. has put me on Allegra-D. My daughter takes zyrtec. This is helping so much. My brother also has this same problem, and he can finally hear again, after taking zyrtec. Hope this helps

You are obviously having sinus problems either from sinusitis or from allergies. See your doc and get this checked out and they will be able to prescribe something to help once they decide what is causing your sinus congestion.

My daughter has always had terrible sinus problems. She has had sinus surgery twice. The first time she went in they were going in to put in sinus windows. After the dr got in, he found that she had polyps. After removing the polyps she was MUCH better for several years and they returned. Thus, the second surgery. I don't know if this is a continuous problem for you but my daughter was FOREVER sick - stopped up, headaches, infections.
I thought I'd mention this because the polyps are fluid filled and can't be detected on x-rays. The second time the dr used a tiny camera to see that the polyps had returned.
