Question Gluten

I am allergic to gluten. Now, this is found in almost everything I love to eat - rice, pasta, bread....
Is there any foods that are gluten free?
this allergy has only just come up and it is driving me insane

Hello Catriona

I also am allergic to gluten. When you found out that you were allergic to gluten, was anything said about what type? Wheat gluten, for example, is what I'm allergic to. Sometimes, if the reaction to gluten isn't big, they can put you on a rotation diet. But that would all depend on how allergic you are to various foods. I have a bread, that is a wheat bread, yet it has no gluten in it. It's called Ezekiel Bread. I can tell you more about it if you are curious. Till then, take care. -Jacinta

Jacinta--

thank you, yes I would love to know more...

I have been getting migraines since I was about 8. The doctors did not know why and didn't do an alergy test on me. I have recently been told I have gall stones and while they were testing for that, they found out I am allergic to gluten, and no, they didnt tell me which type. Since then, I have cut all gluten products out of my diet and have not had so much as a headavhe since.

Many foods that have gluten in it I love. I cant see myself not eating them for the rest of my life.
