Question Allergic Reaction to Lotion

Hello everyone. I am experiencing something that I have had on several other occations. I had some dry skin on my face and had been putting lotion on it with no success. My wife recommended that I put some of her moisterizing lotion on my face. I did! Mistake! The next morning I woke up with swollen and itchy eyes and places around my lips and nose. It has been a week since then and it is still here. I am not sure what may have caused this? If anyone has had a similar reaction or knows someone who has please advise. Thanks.

hi i'm no stranger to allergies.

i have them to food, inhalants, mold, dander, pollen and ragweed.
I developed them when i had a period of high stress, due to lack of high immunity to i guess.
I was diagnosed with sinusitis also.

I had been taking flonase a few years ago, as well as zyrtec.......

My other doctor recommended a mere nonprescription decongestant pill.
I have gone from antihistimines to decongestants and done well.
The antihistimines put me to sleep.
