Question Allergic Reaction - Hives

Can you have allergic reactions to fats (i.e.margarine,etc.) and/or sugars??? When I eat foods containing margarine and/or sugars,(not sure which it really is) I turn red from neck down along w/hives all over. It's always same pattern, hands itch, facial and then entire body. Through elimination of foods, I've narrowed it down to possibly the margarine,and/or butter. Is this possible??? All my allergy tests have been negative.

Margarine has a huge variety of chemical additives in it, as do some sugar products. I suggest you lay off the margarine and try a small amount of 'high quality' butter. Lactancia for example is very good and is actually lower in fat than a lot of margarines.
You are having SEVERE allergic reactions to a product and this is very dangerous.
I have gone through the same thing with HONEY. If I accidently eat some, I will get a burning on my hands and feet, then hives all over, burning in the stomach and chest and then heart palpitations. I know the warning signs and always carry Benadril with me.
I used to carry an ephinephrin syringe...I tripped and the case broke on a rock injecting me with adrenalin...my heart almost popped and that was the last time I carried a syninge!
I wish you the best...stay away from that that can harm you...it could be fatal!
