Post Allergic reaction and joint pain - info please?

Could someone kindly explain (or point out a site where I can get the info) just how an allergic reaction manifests itself in joint pain?

Total body hive episode Tuesday 12/12, started Prednisone 12/14 and the joint pains began 12/16. It's like debilitating, crippling arthritis and it travels from joint to joint day-to-day.

Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I would be interested in what you have found out as this happened to you several years ago, this has recently happened to my husband and he has been off work for four weeks

Hi eleni,
I saw an older actor interviewed on tv years ago and he did say he had arthritis from age but he ended in a wheel chair. His Doctors found out he was in the wheel chair because of Allergies not arthritis. He went on a certain diet which he didn't say what it was but he walked until the day he died after that. I told my doctor about this years ago and he didn't believe me. Everytime I get a sinus infection, which I have now, all my joints ache. As soon as I take strong enough antibiotics it goes away. I took my first one today and my joints feel a little better. I don't get hives though. It happens when I get sinus infections. What is Angiodema, is that graves disease? Does allergies cause it? Please let us know. My face has never swollen either.
Thank You so much.
God Bless You.
