Post coffee?

I've been a heavy coffee drinker since I was about 21 but recently I've noticed that after I consume a couple of cups I get what I've been told are similar to "allergic shiners". It looks as if I've gone a couple of rounds with Mike Tyson! It also occurs if I drink a couple of cups of tea. It is NOT from lack of sleep and it doesn't occur until after I consume tea or coffee. I took a blood test for allergies a few years ago and it showed me to be moderately allergic to Milk and Pollen. Does anyone else have this problem? Doesn't sound like a major problem but it does have an affect on your self confidence! LOL Thanks in advance for any input. Rob

Do you get the same reaction from coke?
Sounds like you have allergies to caffeine.

I drank a lot of tea and coke throughout my life, and now I can't drink either or I'll
get sick to my stomach. Puffy eyes and dark circles is a sign of allergies.

The worst thing about coffee most people aren't aware off is, that coffee coats the lining of the stomach. So if you take Vitamins or herbs with or after drinking
the coffee, you won't be getting the benefits. Ever notice how you get sick more often then others even while taking the vitamins? I know it can be hard, but stop
the caffeine for a week and see if you don't start feeling better. I know those caffee headaches can be a killer.
