allergies to Alcohol/Wine/Champagne

I have just recently started having strange reactions when I drink alcohol drinks.
For instance, after 2 glasses of wine this weekend my head began to intensly itching.
Prior to this incident 2 weeks ago I had a drink (1) of pineapple and rum my sinis started attacking. Itching eyes, sneezing.
THis is mostly my main reaction lately when I drink.
Anybody else have these experience and what did you do?
Please don't respond by saying to stop because there is a way around anything, right?! Be optimistic :-)

Try a different alcoholic beverage. Wine, champagne, and other fruity drinks contain a preservative called 'sulfites' or 'sulfiting agents' which prevent the 'fruit' from fermenting more. I personally am VERY allergic to sulfites..and when i want a drink...its beer!
