Post Hives when body gets warm

I am 41 years old and have been getting hives off and on for almost a year now. I only get them in the evening and usually shortly before going to bed. If I continue to stay warm, they will spread. If I cool down, they will go away within 30 minutes or so. I only get them from my hips down to my feet, never above the hips. I am really confused about this and would like some advice.

I have them too. Like you, mine are worse when I am warm. I don't get a lot of swelling around the eyes and lips or anything, but I do have rashes that itch terribly. It is very frustrating and I hope that there is something that will help end this. Let me know if you find anything.

Hi!

You may suffer from Cholinergic urticaria, which is associated with exercise, hot showers and/or anxiety, is a form of hives that is related to release of certain chemicals from parts of the nervous system that controls such body functions as blood pressure and heart rate.

I know when I take a hot shower or bath or get hot and sweaty during exercise I get hives mostly on my trunk and face. Not real attractive! ;o) And itchy! When I cool down, they go away...

You may want to do an internet search on cholinergic urticaria.

Hope this helps in some way!
