Unhappy Pleasssseee HELP

I am simply going crazy, I have this burning sensation in my vagina (but not when I urinate), when I am sitting down mostly. (if that makes sense). And also I been having the need to urinate more frequently, but it is not to the point where I have been waking up from this. I can get through the night, its during the day and the burning sensation too.
What could this be?
oh and recently my doctor told me that I had vaginitis-trich. i was treated though and still having these symptoms.

Hi,

Please go back to your doctor. It's an STD, and I do hope your sexual partner has been treated also. When you go back, get your doctor to retest you. If he/she says it's not necessary...insist so that you can be treated again if it's warranted. In the meantime, if your partner hasn't been treated or is in the process of being treated, he should be using a condom so that you won't get reinfected.

You may also be in the beginning stages of a urinary tract infection. Please ask that you be tested for that also. Women are more prone to UTI's than men. It's best to get a definitive diagnosis and treated than run the risks of further serious complications.

Get well soon,
quincy

It could also be a yeast infection.

I would not blankly say it is an STD, although it is a definite possibility, as well as other possibilities. Perhaps the treatment for the Trich (yeast) was not long enough, and, yes, perhaps you and your partner are reinfecting if he was not treated. I would suggest you go back to your doctor and have a Pap and pelvic examination performed with a smear sent to pathology to find out your diagnosis.

Just to clarify, Trich (trichonomiasis) is a common STD found in both men and women. Mind you, one can get it from a toilet seat or sharing a towel with another who has it. And in saying that, I doubt that's the most popular way it is spread considering who gets it.

It is not yeast or fungal, it is a parasite.

An STD can be ping-ponged between partners unless BOTH are treated.

It is easily treated.

Abstinence or using a condom during sex while being treated would help to not reinfect each other.

Any infection that can be passed from one person to another through sexual contact is an STD.

But, check it out on the internet, there's TONS of information for clarification.
