And as for the upper abdominals, i can do unlimited crunches bc i have been doing them for years, and i wanted to know how to add mass to my abs. Any exercises or ways of doing weighted crunches that you guys could tell me about?

Lay flat on the edge of a bench or raised surface, sitting just on your hands. Lower your torso down, and stretch your legs out in front of you with the knees slightly bent, and toes pointing forward. Exhale and bring your shoulders to meet your knees.
Balance will play a pivotal role in this, as well as patience. If you're lower back begins bothering you, keep your torso stationary and focus on moving your legs to your chest.
Granted, there is no "Best Excersize", only patience, dedication, and a low enough bodyfat percentage will reveal your abdominals.
