Well....I have been using Differin in the am and Cleocin T in the pm since 10-29-03. I did get the initial breakout which wasn't much fun but wow....what a difference I can see in my skin now. I realize for some it doesn't work and I thought I was in that majority but wow.....I just can't believe it. Aside from the healing of the old acne (red spots) I am clear right now and my face actually looks normal for once! Not a single pimple or anything in probaby 2 weeks now. I was using the Cetaphil Cleansing Cream for the first few weeks then wondered why my breakouts were getting worse and worse. I think it was clogging my pores. I switched back to my normal body wash (Caress) and just use that on my face lightly morning and night. Using the Caress really helped a lot. I will never touch that cream again. I liked the Cetaphil bar soap thinking the cream would be great for me too. I did, however, start to use the Cleocin T both am and pm last week under the Differin and that helped a lot too. ( I read up on the Cleocin and found that you should use it 2 times a day although my doc prescribed it to be used once daily.) But now I'm back to just in the pm. I chose to use the Differin in the am because since the Differin is clearing your pores I would think your pores need it during the day more than night. At night I let the Cleocin heal my pores. (I hope that made sense) But I am very satisfied with the Differin because I have used it in the past and didn't think it would work. Now I have to find out when I can stop using the Cleocin.
