Question Question on alternative cold treatments when pregnant

My husband and I are trying to conceive, so I may be a few days pregnant. With that in mind, I came down with an awful cold. I haven't used any otc or prescription medication. I have, however, used echinacea for two days, and have used lavender, eucalyptus, and tea tree essential oils with steam inhalation. I am wondering if any of the above mentioned practices pose a threat if I am only a few days pregnant? Any input is greatly appreciated

some herbs including echinacea may cause problems, (it stimulates the immune system and increases certain blood cells)
and some oils if used too strongly (juniper) can cause a miscarriage. check with a registered naturopath or aromatherpist for more information. using homeopathic remedies may be of help to you while pregnant.
