Post Thank you EWEEJOE for your post under white stool

I just wanted to thank you for your post and the link you included. I read that tonight as more of a curiosity. My son has always had the lighter colored stools...He is 3yrs old. He has an enlarged spleen and liver, something he has gone thru many many tests for, suspecting some type of a storage disorder and originally thinking one of the more severe life threatening kind, but now not so much so....
Anyway, Just yesterday we were at my moms house and his poor tummy was just rock hard and he didnt really eat all day, but did go to the bathroom 3 or 4 times. My mom went with him and said it was very light colored and she wondered why that was. I remember now that she said the same thing a few wks ago too...I guess I never thought much of it as they have always pretty much been that way. I have never thought to mention that to his doctor because I just didnt think it was abnormal. Anyway, Nolan has had lots more problems with infections and anemia and other things, he didnt walk until he was about 20mths old, and has only just in the last 6mths started talking clearly enough to be understood, and usually still requires 'interpretation' by momma.

I will mention this to his doctor..the light colored stool thing, as this may be part of his whole enlarged liver/spleen thing and the anemia too...its worth checking into for sure.

Thanks again, I never would have thought of this on my own.

Blessings,
Jennifer
