Post Questions about herbs????

Just a couple of questions...

Read on the cancer board about herbs that help in remissions. What herbs help for full remission? Can you take a garlic supplement instead of cloves? What herbal books would you recommend?

My father has small cell carcinoma and I want to educate myself.

Thanks for the help.

Yes, depending on the brand you buy garlic capsules are stronger then eating a garlic bulb.
It's a large mis-understanding that all brands of the same herb have the same quality. That's how people who try herbs for the first time become negitive to herbs
when they end up buying a cheap brand that has no value.

As far a great book and very benefical, as well as helpful is "How To Be Your Own Herbal Pharmacist" By Linda Rector-Page

There are many people that have claimed to have healed themselves from cancer with herbs and other alternative treatments. You can find these books often at any health food store.

Since herbal therapy is not praticed to a large extent by traditional doctors in the United States, you will have to do a lot of research. Herbal therapy is fascinating. There's so much to learn from nature's natural medicines.

Taking a complete approach to healing, including healthy dietary changes, to enhance the immune system is important too.
