What exactly is in NUX VOMICA????

I am needing information on what is inside the homeopathic med of NUX VOMICA...I read this helps those with indigestion, nausea, etc..however would anyone know what is this med made out of? I would hope its not ipecac....Please reply. I am desperate for relief from irritated stomach and nausea....

It's made from the poison nut tree.It's used for upset stomach due to hangovers & heart palpitations,among other things. Hope this helps!

Is this nut tree poison as in what human beings should not ingest? Have you tried nux vomica? If so did it work for you? What are the side effects?

Hi potato,
Nux Vomica in homeopathic doses are very------very small so the side-effects are not any when taken below a potency of 30X.
It covers alot of symptomes. I suggest you do a search about homeopahtic medicine and find out what the potencies mean, why they are so small and how to use the remedies. The use of homeopathy could change your life---it did mine about 25 years ago.

I use Nux Vomica for my heart palpitations & it works quite well.I suppose too much would be poisonous (as with a lot of herbs). Educate yourself,the world of Homeopathy is very interesting & can be very helpful in many ways!
