Oh, ok I know what your talking about now. Yeah, I was lamenting about how difficult it can be to find a good doctor or get an appointment to see a specialist for some people, etc. A few people get lucky and have a good doctor but my insurance pays so little I usually end up with pretty crappy care so I tend to rant about my experiences a lot ;-).
Anyway, I went into the ER the other day because I was hoping to have them call in an ENT to do a biopsy of this thing in my mouth (which they told me they could do) but when I got down there, all I got was a referral to see an ENT which is actually a very GOOD thing (providing that this ENT is a decent one and not someone who just blows me off). The GP I saw 4 days ago just gave me a prescription for Z-Pack (Azythromycin) which is what I had hoped for anyway in case this thing turns out to be an infection. He also gave me a course of
Allegra which is supposed to be an excellent allergy med.
The GP I saw today ordered the CT scan I will be having tomorrow afternoon. Well, my fingers are getting tired from typing. It is obvious that you are a caring and concerned person who wants to help and I appreciate that. Not much else to say at the moment though - will keep you all posted and thank's again.
