methadone withdrawal

Thanks so much to all of you for your responses and support. Knowing there are people out there who have also gone through this experience helps me to keep pushing through each day. My nervous system has now been affected, so I was put back on amitriptyline for anxiety, depression and pain. My whole body is so 'raw' right now...lots of pain, but little they can give me (tylenol). I have been referred to a physical therapist for ultrasound(???), heat and massage. It would be great if insurance paid for my massages!!! Miositis is the name of the muscle disease I now have (basically, it means, 'inflammation of the muscles')....which I now have plenty of that. The drugs (oxy and meth) really did a nice job of covering up not only my back pain, but the pain that was developing from the miositis...as well as neck pain that I now have...what a mess! All of you said two months to get over the meth. My last pill was taken the first weekof November...do you think 'normal 'days are only a week or two away (don't worry, I won't hold you to this!)...one of my doctors thinks the meth is out of my system and that I am experiencing anxiety and depression and that is giving me all the symptoms. The other docs say it's the meth...my body is still asking for it. UGH!!! I want to be well again!! It's been such a long time since I was active physically. Thanks for listening again! My best to all of you ! Camellia
