Question Cetyl Myristoleate

Has anyone tried cetyl myristoleate for arthritis? I have read about it on the net. One 20 day treatment is suppose to be a long term help. I'm going to try it soon. I would like to hear from anyone who has heard of it. As usual there are a lot of sales pitches out there.

Thank you for your reply. I tried taking it & took it for eight days, but started having bad stomach aches, so I quit taking it.
What other ingredients does your product have in it? There are so many things that I can't take because of other problems.

Cetyl myristolaeate is a form of fatty acid and enhances the natural lubrication in joints provided by cartilage and synovial fluid, which, by normal aging processes becomes depleted. It has been found to be most effective when combined with glucosamine, chondroitin and SAMe, though the cetyl myristoleate does not need to be taken on a consistent long term basis as its effects are long lasting. This combination has proven very effective for treatment of osteoarthritits and has also shown benefit in rheumatoid arthritis.

With gastrointestinal upset, try backing the dose down, you may be getting too much.
hope this helps some.

Good luck!

If this gives you a bad stomach why not try taking Glucosamine or try homeopathic remedies such as Rhus Tox or Bryonia or acupuncture? They are all extremely good for arthritis.
