Re: anyone have success with garlic tabs

I've been using an enteric coated garlic supplement which is standardized to contain at least 4000mcg allicin for several years now. While I never actually noticed that it lowered my total cholesterol, it has certainly increased the HDL. So I'm happy. Who cares about a single total cholesterol number so long as the ratios are good?

Do you think there would be a proplem taking both garlic and fish oil if you are on Lipitor. The reason I'm asking is I want to stop taking so much Lipitor. I'm on 20mg so I cut them in half to 10 and would like to stop taking it altogther.

Yes, you can take both garlic and fish oil while taking Lipitor. There are no adverse interactions between them.
