Question Alzheimer induced headaches???

Curious if anyone has experienced this. My dad was diagnosed with AD last year and started on Reminyl. Today while visiting with him he became upset and while trying ot get out what he wanted to say he would clutch or grab at his head. I have noticed him doing this in the past and thought is was related to his frustration to not being able to get out want he wanted to say, but today he did it 3 or 4 times and I asked him if his head was hurting and he told me that when he gets upset it will hurt and then afterwards he feels bad and thinks that his speech and such are worse.

I'm going to call his doctor first thing Monday morning. I haven't been able to find out anything that would associate this to the AD, but I was wondering if this does happen with Alzheimer patients or if it could be something else.

Thank you for any information or suggestions you have.
